To twitter or not to Twitter?

I've been fighting an internal battle about my postings on Twitter, Facebook, Shoutlife, and SistahFaith.  Michael Hyatt, CEO of Thomas Nelson, recently expressed similar concerns.  Though I'm not a CEO, I am essentially a private person– who has been writing controversial books that have evoked threats of various magnitudes for decades now.

But there are perks — I'm connecting (mainly through Facebook) with people I haven't seen in years.  And not only that, a “Latter-day Cipher” group on Facebook, begun by Noel Green, has over 70 members.  Wow.

So — you can find me easily on any of those online entities.  Hm.  That's a problem for me, you know.  You can find me easily…. on any of those online entities.

  • I read Hyatt's blog post, too. Wow. That kind of vitriol could send one ducking back behind the wall, couldn't it? I don't think he will, though, and I hope you won't either. See you on Twitter.
