Reason #65: Because God Refuses to Acknowledge Other Gods

Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me,” says the Bible in Isaiah 43:10.  In fact, God adamantly said that He didn’t even know of any other real Gods:

“You are my witnesses, Is there a God besides Me?  Indeed there is no other Rock; I know not one.”

Aaron Shafovaloff has a humorous take on the Mormon idea that people can become gods and create other humans to worship them.

“If your spirit-kids try to worship you in the after-life,” says Shafovaloff,  “Spank them.”

    A Comment from Sharon Taylor:

Isaiah 43:10 hit me like a ton of bricks when I was a questioning Mormon. I am continually amazed by LDS membership burying their heads in the sand so as not to deal with the questions. Fear and guilt play a huge role in an individuals ability to accept the truths that are right under their noses.
