“Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me,” says the Bible in Isaiah 43:10. In fact, God adamantly said that He didn't even know of any other real Gods:
“You are my witnesses, Is there a God besides Me? Indeed there is no other Rock; I know not one.”
Aaron Shafovaloff has a humorous take on the Mormon idea that people can become gods and create other humans to worship them.
“If your spirit-kids try to worship you in the after-life,” says Shafovaloff, “Spank them.”
