Everyone knows that poetry doesn't “sell.” Publishers don't want to print it, students groan aloud at the prospect of studying it. And poetasters have set our teeth on edge. So why in the world would I want to concentrate on it?

I've long been envious (in a good way!) of you and Celeste, and your ability to translate emotions into words so that others can experience them. My heart can be near exploding and my eyes brimming with tears, and the only words I can find are so inadequate at expressing what is inside me. Thank you for sharing your wonderful gift of words!
