I feel ambivalence hearing that Mitt Romney has suspended his bid for the presidency. I have a picture of him in my freshman yearbook from BYU and believe that he shares many of the values that I also hold. I commend him for his strong family and his service to our country.
I don't believe we've seen the last of him — either as a possible vice president or in four more years in a new presidential bid. While I have no quarrel with what I see of his present character, I am still aware — and want to make others aware — of the overt, documented, and persistent political agenda of the LDS Church.
