When I was a Mormon, the first of Joseph Smith's dozens of wives, Emma, was portrayed as his only wife. Not only that, their relationship was always depicted as loyal and loving — though LDS scripture in the Doctrine and Covenants showed that Emma had difficulty with the doctrine of plural marriage. (Great understatement…) To this day LDS retail stores sell statuettes of the couple looking lovingly at each other.
The truth of the matter is very different:

I mean, come on, you have to ask yourself why Brigham Young once (in public!) claimed Emma Smith tried to poison Joseph, but now Mormons only talk about what a great marriage the Smiths had.

Great website.Very informative.I ask Mormons,"If Mormonism is God's true voice then why can't you find any Mormon books in the Christian section of any bookstore,why aren't there any Mormons on Christian tv or radio or on regular tv(Especially on Sundays)or on ham radios(To reach people in remote places).Seems God would want to use the best means possible to reach as many people as possible to get His true message across."
Also since it has been over 100 years since Mormonism was started,why is the message of Mormonism still hidden?Over 100 years and people still don't know about "God's true message"?
I guess Mormons, with the fact that their missionaries are in almost every country and the LDS church owns newspapers and radio and TV station (BYU TV is on DirectTV, for instance), would think that they are reaching the world. But I see your point. If it is supposed to be the miraculous restored gospel, one might expect a more explosive growth and exposure, right?
